About the Department
The Department of Science at St. Wilfred’s College for Girls, was established in 2007. A “Department of Science” is a common term used to refer to a department or division within an educational institution or government organization that is primarily focused on the study, research, and promotion of various scientific disciplines. These departments typically play a crucial role in advancing scientific knowledge, conducting research, and providing educational opportunities related to science.
Vision
- The Department prepares students for a diverse and changing world. Department is connected to achieving excellence in dissemination and creation of knowledge to address modern day challenges through various approaches of practical knowledge. We try to establish a platform for the dissemination and creation of knowledge through teaching and research in Science at various levels. We aspire to create a scientific society which encourages logical thinking.
